Sony and Marvel might not be ready to make official Spider-Man 4 announcements, but there’s no shortage of rumors concerning the film that will kickstart another Spider-Man trilogy. But people do not know that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. The superhero does exist, and he was always in the MCU. Let’s remember that right now, nobody knows the identity of Spider-Man. But we have yet to find out when and where Peter Parker will appear in the MCU again. That was the rumored deal with Disney after Far From Home. Last year, Rothman confirmed that Spider-Man would appear in a Marvel crossover after No Way Home. This would also help connect Spider-Man to the other New York-based heroes, creating a new support system for the now isolated hero.Peter Parker (Tom Holland) in Spider-Man: No Way Home ending scene. Spider-Man 4 could be the final showdown for Kingpin after defeating countless New York-based heroes and finally drawing the attention of the wall-crawler. Kingpin made his official MCU debut in Hawkeye and will return in both Echo and Daredevil: Born Again. He is currently being set up as one of the MCU's most dangerous ground-level villains after first appearing in Netflix's Daredevil. Spider-Man: No Way Home also sets up at least one potential antagonist, Venom, with the trace of a symbiote left behind by Eddie Brock.Īnother possibility, so long as Spider-Man sticks to New York, is Kingpin. This sets up the MCU's Peter Parker to truly become the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man he's never had the opportunity to be. Spider-Man 4 will introduce an intriguing new life for the hero after losing Aunt May and having Doctor Strange erase Peter Parker from the minds of the collective world at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
